Meet Our Team
Sandy Blalock: With over three decades of experience in the auto recycling industry, Sandy Blalock has been a pivotal figure in advocating for recyclers’ interests. Beginning her career managing her family’s business in Albuquerque, NM, Sandy has held numerous leadership roles, including President of the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA). As she prepares to step down as Executive Director of ARA in October 2024, Sandy remains committed to supporting state associations and continuing her advocacy work.
Kim Glasscock: A seasoned event planner with a remarkable track record in the automotive recycling sector. Since founding Award Winning Events in 1999, Kim has specialized in creating impactful events that drive industry education and networking. Her work with ARA over the past 18 years has been instrumental in providing recyclers with top-tier events, strategic gatherings, and educational opportunities. Kim’s expertise ensures that every event is a platform for growth and innovation.
